The Talented Skye Blue
If you are not familiar with the independent scene then you can be forgiven (just) for wandering what the hype is for Skye Blue as she picked up her first win in AEW and tonight on AEW Rampage has the colossal task of facing Jade Cargill.
So lets start with some facts:
Skye is 22 years old and is currently a Freelancer and Singles Wrestler, she was born in New York City, New York USA and is 5ft 8in.
Skye`s first in ring performance was on 06/24/2017 and has 4 years of in ring experience and was trained by Randy Ricci at the Premier Academy.
Apart from featuring for AEW she has been busy in the Independent scene featuring for companies such as, NWA, Mission Pro Wrestling, GCW, AAW, Chicago Pro Wrestling and Luche Libre Total Chicago to name just a few.
When you look at the match stats for her she has appeared in
19 Matches in 2019
45 Matches in 2020
So far in 2021 to this date she has competed in a mammoth 62 matches and there is still the best part of 3 months left in the year.

Skye is currently the ZERO1 USA Women`s Champion and has held the GPW Battle Royal Champion and the CSW Women`s Championship. So you can certainly say she enjoys having some gold over her shoulder.

Final Thoughts
Skye makes her tv debut tonight on one of the hottest shows in pro wrestling AEW Rampage.
I fully believe over the coming weeks and months we will be seeing a lot more of this talented lady on our screens.
The small matter of the new TBS title I am sure will be of massive interest to her.
She is perfect as a baby face and with the AEW women`s roster there is plenty of potential storylines she could be involved with. With the first names springing to my mind being The Bunny and Penelope Ford.
No matter what story lines down the road she will be involved in you can guarantee her AEW crowd pop will get louder and louder the more appearances she makes.
